Canada’s return to Normandy
With only 127 days until the Games begin, the countdown is definitely on for Canada’s return to Normandy.
I’ve had the opportunity to do 2 site visits last year, and can tell you that the Normandy area will be a spectacular backdrop. Normandy’s promotional poster below gives a pretty good indication at just what I mean.
It’s also particularly meaningful given Canada’s history in the region from the second world war.
